Registered Massage Therapist

Permanent – Full Time or Part-time
Compensation: Fee per Service

At Symmetrics we provide electronic billing, supportive administrative staff, access to online scheduling and charting software, advertising, and onsite laundry. All products and equipment provided. 

Registered Massage Therapist Responsibilities

  • Assess and advise on each patient’s unique needs, taking into consideration their level of stress, physical condition, and medical history, and offer recommendations for types of massage and treatment
  • Give patients suggestions for wellness maintenance
  • Build positive relationships with patients and team members to create a pleasant work environment
  • Maintain treatment records, monitor patient progress, and follow up on their treatment
    plans

 

Physiotherapist

Locum Physiotherapist Opportunity

Symmetrics Health, a well-established multidisciplinary clinic located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, is seeking a Physiotherapist for a 6-8 week locum position from mid-June to August, with the potential for a long-term opportunity with a signing bonus.

Position Details:

  • Location: Symmetrics Health at The Mount in Charlottetown, PEI
  • Duration: 6-8 weeks (mid-June to August)
  • Compensation: Competitive percentage-based pay structure
  • Schedule: Flexible – candidates may select their preferred days and working hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients 
  • Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to promote patient recovery and functional independence
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and effective patient care
  • Educate patients on rehabilitation, injury prevention, and wellness strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional standards

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must be licensed to practice Physiotherapy in Prince Edward Island
  • Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
