Chiropractic

Chiropractors focus on your spine, muscle, and nervous system and treat the bones, muscles, soft tissues, and joints that you use every day.

The spine, muscle, and nervous system supports your weight, keeps your body stable, protects your organs, and keeps you moving. It also connects directly to other vital systems in your body, which is why medical professionals, researchers, and the wider health community trust the spine care expertise of chiropractors to assess, diagnose, and treat conditions and injuries related to the spine, muscle, and nervous system.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do chiropractors treat?

Chiropractors assess, diagnose, and treat conditions of the spine, muscle, and nervous system, including back and neck pain, headaches, and joint problems, for patients of all ages.

Does a chiropractic adjustment hurt?

Adjustments are generally not painful. Some people notice mild soreness afterward, similar to what you might feel after exercise, which usually settles within a day.

Do I need a doctor’s referral for chiropractic care?

No. You can book directly with either of our chiropractors. Some private insurance plans ask for a doctor’s referral before they reimburse you, so it is worth checking your plan.

What happens at my first chiropractic appointment?

Your chiropractor will talk through your history, assess your movement and spine, explain what they find, and begin treatment the same visit.

Is chiropractic care covered by insurance?

Most extended health plans cover chiropractic care. Coverage amounts vary by plan, so check with your provider. We provide an itemized receipt you can submit for reimbursement.
