Physiotherapy
“Physiotherapy is the primary health care profession that promotes wellness, mobility, and independent function. Physiotherapists have advanced understanding of how the body moves, what keeps it from moving well, and how to restore mobility.”

Levi Ewald
Physiotherapist, BSc, MScPT
Levi believes that effective physiotherapy goes beyond treating symptoms – it’s about identifying the “why” behind the pain. He is passionate about uncovering the root cause of injury to provide not just a quick fix, but a long-term solution that prevents recurrence.
By combining hands-on manual therapy with individualized exercise prescription, Levi empowers his patients to take control of their recovery. Whether you are dealing with a chronic issue or a recent injury, his goal is to build a resilient body that can handle the demands of your daily life.
Levi earned his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto (2024) following a Biology degree from Dordt University. Outside the clinic, you’ll find him coaching high school volleyball or playing volleyball, soccer and basketball.
Running Assessment
A running assessment looks at how you actually run, not just where it hurts. We film you running, break down your gait, and test the strength, mobility, and control behind what we see.
You leave with a clear picture of what your body is doing, what is driving your symptoms or holding your pace back, and a plan of specific work to change it.
Bike Fitting
Robert offers full bike fitting at the clinic for road, gravel, mountain, triathlon, and commuter bikes. Small changes to saddle height, reach, and cleat position can take pressure off your knees, hands, neck, and lower back, and let you put more power down for the same effort.
It runs as a seven-step process, from your history and an off-the-bike assessment through video analysis, adjustments, and a recheck.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a physiotherapist treat?
Our physiotherapists treat a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, concussion, pre- and post-operative care, muscle and joint pain, and vertigo (BPPV), for patients of all ages.
Do I need a doctor’s referral for physiotherapy?
No. You can book directly with any of our physiotherapists. Some private insurance plans ask for a doctor’s referral before they reimburse you, so it is worth checking your plan.
What happens at my first physiotherapy appointment?
Your physiotherapist will talk through your history, assess how you are moving, and start treatment the same visit. You will leave with a plan for your recovery, usually including exercises to do at home.
What should I wear to physiotherapy?
Comfortable clothing you can move in. Shorts are helpful if we are treating your knee or hip, and a tank top works well for shoulders and neck.
How many physiotherapy visits will I need?
It depends on your condition and your goals. Your physiotherapist will map out a plan with you at your first assessment and adjust it as you progress.
Is physiotherapy covered by insurance?
Most extended health plans cover physiotherapy. Coverage amounts vary by plan, so check with your provider. We provide an itemized receipt you can submit for reimbursement.
